About Me
Welcome, my name is Geraldine Mulpeter and I am a fully accredited psychotherapist (IAHIP & ICP). I offer professional, compassionate psychotherapy in a safe, supportive and welcoming environment.
My approach is grounded in the belief that each person is unique and shaped by their own life story. I will meet you where you are at, and in collaboration, and tailor our work to suit your individual needs. I am not a blank page and neither are you. Your vulnerabilities are safe with me and all of you are welcome.

A central part of my work is understanding how early relationships and experiences influence the way we relate to ourselves and others. Across the course of our sessions, we’ll have the opportunity to explore these dynamics in a way that feels safe and respectful, opening the door to deeper insight, self-compassion and growth.
My work is relational, warm, and grounded in curiosity. I have a particular interest in attachment styles and the ways in which our relational patterns show up across all aspects of life.

Qualifications & Experience
I hold a BA in Social Studies, a Higher Diploma, and an MA in Psychotherapy.
I am a fully accredited member with both IAHIP (Irish Association for Humanistic & Integrative Psychotherapy) and ICP (Irish Council for Psychotherapy).

Alongside private practice, I bring a wealth of experience from other areas of mental health and care. I spent seven years working in residential care, supporting individuals through complex emotional and behavioural needs. For the past five years, I’ve worked as a therapist with Well Woman, providing crisis pregnancy counselling and supporting women dealing with recurrent miscarriage, infertility, and complex menopause experiences.
I am also actively involved in the professional psychotherapy community, currently serving as Secretary of the IAHIP Accreditation Committee and Membership Secretary of its Governing Body.
Whether you’re coming to therapy for the first time or returning after a break, I aim to offer a space where you feel understood and supported as we work together.
If you’d like to explore working with me, you’re very welcome to get in touch.
